OFFICERS PARTICIPATE IN
SHERIFF'S MINI-TRIATHLON

Sheriff Ira Edwards and the Clarke County Sheriff's Office hosted the Emergency Services Mini-Triathlon, which raised money for the American Diabetes Association.

The Athens-Clarke County Police Department fielded two teams.

The Uniform Division Team, comprised of SPO Kenneth Brown, team captain, SPO Jeff Parker, SPO Jeff Clark, SPO David Norris, and Ofc Demetric McCommons, won second place . The SRT Team, comprised of SPO Von Anderson, team captain, SPO Michael Young, SPO Joey Mannozzi, Ofc Chris Wright , and SPO Courtney Gale, were the first place champions.

The Department also won third place for the amount of money raised.
