ACCPD Citizen's Police Academy Alumni Association - Santa Cop

The Athens-Clarke County Police Department Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association had two Christmas projects.

Santa Cop Christmas Party for Police Personnel and Their Families

The first was hosting a Christmas party for police personnel (photo above) and their families. Santa Cop was there to talk with the children (and adults!). Each child received a gift bag and toy. Pictured are the CPAAA volunteers with Santa Cop.

Police Personnel Holding Baskets for Senior Shut-Ins in Athens-Clarke County

Our second project involved preparing baskets for senior shut-ins in Athens-Clarke County. CPA AA members and Clarke County School District School Patrols donated personal care items. These along with fruit and candy were placed in the baskets which were delivered by police officers. The holidays were brightened a little for the 80 recipients.
